Jaylen Brown playing roulette with his NBA Finals trophy on the table is such a flex
I’ve come to terms with the fact I will never win an NBA championship, let alone a Finals MVP, but I’d like to think in the immediate hours after such an accomplishment my mind would go straight to the same place Jaylen Brown’s did: the casino.
I mean, listen, when you’ve got such incredible vibes and feel invincible, there’s really no other place more attractive. You expect to walk in and bankrupt the place.
But it’s for sure much easier to sustain those vibes when you’re carrying the Bill Russell NBA Finals Most Valuable Player trophy around and placing it ON THE TABLE while making your bets.

I don’t know if the house has ever gotten nervous before, but I bet that trophy touching the felt on the roulette table made the casino think twice for a moment.
Personally, I’d be terrified of putting the trophy in the wrong spot and accidentally wagering it on a spin. Imagine having to tell Adam Silver how you lost one of the league’s most sought-after honors before the parade even began.
Then again, imagine telling everyone how much you won by putting the Finals MVP trophy on 18 red.
