Mum-of-22 Sue Radford insists she’s done having kids as she sobs about her ‘last baby’ starting school
BRITAIN’S biggest mum has insisted that she’s done having kids after sobbing that her “last baby is starting school”.
Mum-of-22 Sue Radford has made thousands of packed lunches and done countless uniform washes for her mammoth brood over the last 30 years.
And now, the 49-year-old’s youngest child with Noel, 53, is set to embark on her educational journey.
Little Heidie, four, will attend school in Morecambe, Lancs with a number of her elder siblings.
“Picked up Heidie’s starting school pack and found out who her teacher will be in September,” Sue penned on Instagram stories.
“It suddenly feels so real that our last baby is starting school.
“Anyone else’s little ones starting school in September, how are you feeling?”
Sue and Noel are parents to their adult children Chris, 35, Sophie, 30, Chloe, 28, Jack, 27, Daniel, 25, Luke, 23, Millie, 22, Katie, 21, James, 20, Ellie, 19 and Aimee, 18.
Their younger children are Josh, 16, Max, 15, Tillie, 14, Oscar, 12, Casper, 11, Hallie, nine, Phoebe, seven, Archie, six, Bonnie, five, and Heidie, four.
Sadly the couple’s 17th child Alfie was still born on July 6, 2014.
At the start of the last school year, Sue revealed that she prepares well in advance for her younger kids starting lessons again.
To save time on the first morning of the kids back at school, the mega mum lays everything out the night before.
This ensures everything runs smoothly in the 10-bedroom Radford household, which is a former care home.
From their water bottles to socks neatly arranged on top of their uniforms, Sue makes things easy for the kids to grab.
But the uniforms certainly don’t come cheap when you have such a large family.
On Channel 5’s 22 Kids And Counting, Sue revealed they spent a whopping £417 kitting her school-aged kids out for new school uniforms last year.
Sue and Noel got hitched when Sue was 17 and say their marriage has never had any serious difficulties, despite the constant stream of children.
Noel underwent a vasectomy during the ninth pregnancy but then had it reversed.
The couple have insisted that Heidie is their last child, after Sue has spent around 6,000 days of her life pregnant.
