Temperatures are starting off very mild in the middle 70s this morning as high humidity remains in place. Dew points are in the upper 60s making for an unpleasant start to the day. We'll heat things up through the afternoon with mostly sunny skies.

Later this afternoon, temperatures will reach the lower to mid 90's with winds staying from the south at 10 to 15 MPH but gusting near 20 MPH. This puts us slightly above average for this time of year, as we typically see highs in the upper 80's. This trend of warmer weather keeps going throughout the rest of the week.

We can't rule out an isolated shower or thunderstorm throughout the daytime Friday but the bigger storm system arriving late on Saturday night.

Heat builds in for the weekend. Highs climb back into the middle to upper 90s with heat index running even hotter than that. Our next best chance for rain comes in late Saturday evening, wrapping up by Sunday morning. Hot weather then sticks around for a few more days into early next week.
