Manor Solomon could leave Spurs already

Solomon’s spell at Spurs got off to a promising start, with the winger impressing in pre-season last summer as well as in the first few games of the 2023-24 campaign but disaster struck for the attacker back in October of last year as he picked up a meniscus injury.

The 24-year-old subsequently had several setbacks during his recovery, which meant that he did not kick a single ball for the rest of the campaign.

Transfer insider Graeme Bailey claimed on The Spurs News last month that the Israel international might have already played his final game for Tottenham.

Should Tottenham keep Manor Solomon?

The journalist suggested that while Spurs would not actively push the winger out of the door, they do not see him as a big part of their future and are open to cashing in on his this summer.

This information has now been backed up by O’Keefe, who said on The Last Word on Spurs podcast that the Lilywhties are prepared to allow the winger to leave, just 12 months on from his move to N17.

Spurs have already signed Timo Werner on a 12-month loan to strengthen the left-wing position ahead of the new season, while Heung-min Son could also return to his role on that side.

Spurs Web Opinion

I would be surprised if Solomon left this summer as I do not expect too many clubs to be willing to pay a decent fee for the winger, given his recent injury woes.

Postecoglou might give the 24-year-old a chance to prove his fitness at the start of next season and could consider a sale in January.
