Hat-tricks in T20 World Cups

Up until now, there were 6 players who had taken a hat-trick in T20 matches. But recently, Pat Cummins has also joined this list becoming the 7th bowler to achieve such a feat.

1) Brett Lee (2007)

The first T20 hat-trick was taken by Australian player Brett Lee when they were playing against Bangladesh. Lee took out Shakib Al Hasan, Mahmudullah, and Alok Kapali.

2) Curtis Campher

Ireland all-rounder Curtis Campher picked up a T20 World Cup hat-trick against the Netherlands on October 18, 2021

3) Wanindu Hasaranga

Sri Lanka’s Wanindu Hasaranga picked up a hat-trick against South Africa during the 2021 T20 World Cup played in Sharjah on October 30.

4) Kagiso Rabada

South Africa’s Kagiso Rabada completed his hat-trick during the last over of the T20 2021 World Cup match played against England.

5) Karthik Meiyappan

UAE spinner Karthik Meiyappan took a hat-trick against Sri Lanka during the 2022 T20 World Cup match on October 18,2022.

6) Joshua Little

Joshua Little picked up a hat-trick against the Kiwis during the 2022 T20 World Cup between Ireland and New Zealand on November 4.

7) Pat Cummins

Pat Cummins picked up a hat-trick for Australia in the T20 World Cup 2024 match against Bangladesh on June 21,
