LOVE Island legends Jess and Eve Gale has revealed that they are in talks to appear on a THIRD series of the dating show.

But the twins, 25, said they have been approached by bosses from the US version of the the hit reality show, with ex-Islander Maura Higgins currently hosting the Aftersun spin-off on Peacock.

The twins have landed a new AirPod campaign with Back Market[/caption]

They have already enjoyed success on Love Island back in 2020, and returned for the All Stars series earlier this year.

But despite giving it their best shot, they failed to find love on the show and are both currently single.

Jess, who split from Callum Jones in March, said US bosses were hoping to sign them up for last series, but it clashed with All Stars.

Speaking exclusively to The Sun, Eve said: “When we were in holding for Love Island All StarsLove Island USA got in touch with our management.

“They didn’t realise that our management were running our social media when I was in lock down in Cape Town and didn’t realise that I was out of contact.

“They contacted my management about speaking to us about Love Island USA and didn’t know we were in holding for Love Island All Stars.

“So my management couldn’t speak to us as we were in holding for about a month.

“But that time we missed the casting period.

“I’m glad I did All Stars but no doors have been shut.”

Jess said that she’d be open to appearing on the dating show again, but would prefer it to be an international version.

“I always say with UK TV shows Love Island is probably the biggest show and I’m happy to have done that,” she told us.

“I think if I was to do more TV, I think it would be nice to do more in America or the idea of Netflix.

“Even in All Stars it was a bit repetitive, when you start getting people from different places and you’re in different places, with a slightly different format and cultures.

“I think that would be a bit more exiting.

“Thank god I didn’t have history with anyone, but everyone else had history and you’ve heard of everyone else had history and you’ve heard of everyone and it’s like ‘Oh hi, I’ve seen you at Thorpe Park Halloween…

“It’s not a fresh experience and you already have pre-judgements of people and already you have limited options because there are six guys and some people are close friends because they wouldn’t get with them because their friend has history with them on the outside world.

“It just opens up a whole different dimension of awkwardness.”

“I feel like a definitely need a little break from it, but you never know. I will always be down for stuff like that. It just depends with timings and stuff.

“I don’t think I could ever do it without Eve, we are so used to having each other and doing it together. I’d definitely prefer us to do it together, I couldn’t do it apart from Eve.

“Even the stuff like the holding, it would be horrible to do it alone.

“They kept things covered up by the duvet but let’s just say just like with the sleepover at Casa, producers have so much footage they can’t use it all without it becoming the Grace and Joey show.

“Things are moving fast, but having dated before there’s not the same timescales around forming a bond.”

Their TV move comes after the girls landed a new campaign this week after they partnered with Back Market to introduce the re-launch of their first-ever single AirPod.

To celebrate, the girls recently took to the streets of London to help couple up single AirPod owners with their missing other half.

According to new research, careless Brits have lost over 13 million sets of earphones in the past five years.

A third (32 percent) of adults said they’ve lost earphones in the past 5 years, with most being lost at home (38 per cent), on the street (23 per cent).

Young people were most careless with their earphones, with over half (52 per cent) of 18-24-year-olds admitting to losing headphones, and 12 per cent of this age group confessing to losing 5 or more pairs over the past five years.

Jess & Eve Gale have become Back Market campaign ambassadors. To celebrate the partnership, they hit the streets of London to help UK residents recouple their lost tech.

Jess said: “Eve and I are so excited to be involved in this campaign with Back Market and of course, we know better than anyone that the best things come in pairs! We had a lot of fun working on this project and it’s been great to help people reconnect and replace their lost tech”.

Eve added: “I love the idea of being able to buy a singular headphone as I know all too well the frustration of losing just one of your AirPods and having to buy a whole new pair”

“It’s also great to know The Back Market singular headphones have all been cleaned and sterilised, so you’re not compromising on health and hygiene in any way!”
