Hajj Death Toll: 98 Indian pilgrims dead, MEA says
The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) reported that 98 Indian pilgrims have died during the Hajj pilgrimage due to extreme heat conditions. The pilgrimage, which involves 1.8 million people, took place during the Saudi summer. The heat has led to a temperature increase of 0.4 degrees Celsius per decade in the region.
