Sol De Janeiro drops new Cheirosa 48 Perfume Mist that’s perfect for summer – how to get it before anyone else
DURING the chilly season, I’m wedded to cosy, cradling perfumes – but I’ll immediately cast them aside when warmer weather hits.
Summer fragrances should be refreshing, sumptuous and full of life, and Sol De Janeiro Perfume Mists are a masterclass in sunny scents – and they’re dropping a new one this June.

Sol De Janeiro‘s Perfume Mists were a huge hit with shoppers last summer, and they aren’t going anywhere.
Encased in their colourful, tutti-frutti bottles are Sol De Janeiro‘s juicy, thirst-quenching spritzes, which are the perfect addition to your beach bag and gym kit.
Each fragrance is an ode to warmer climes and is inspired by the sunny shores of Rio de Janeiro.
Take Sol De Janeiro Cheirosa 68 (my personal favourite), which features sugared, powdery notes of musk, jasmine and vanilla, while fans of the bestselling Cheirosa 62 say it smells like sunshine.
‘Cheirosa’ is the Portuguese word for smelling delicious, and all of Sol De Janeiro’s fragrance mists are just that; uplighting and mouthwatering, they can be spritzed all over, thanks to their gentle, water-based formula.
Whilst these perfume mists won’t stick around as long as an eau de parfum (they don’t contain powerful, essential perfume oils like an EDP) they’re perfect for a quick refresh.
So it’s no wonder beauty fans can’t get enough of the brand’s seven fragrances (a quick scroll through TikTok will prove as much), and luckily for them, the brand is launching an eighth this month.

Sol de Janeiro Cheirosa 48 Perfume Mist will hit our shores on 23 June 2024.
The new fragrance mist will follow in similar footsteps to its predecessors and has an uplifting, gourmand aroma.
Cheirosa 48 will have top notes of sparkling pink pepper and lemon, balanced with plucky, punchy florals and sugary candy floss and vanilla notes.
Just like Sol De Janeiro’s existing fragrance offerings, Cheirosa 48 is available in 90ml and 240ml options, costing £24 and £38 respectively.
In the UK, Sol de Janeiro Cheirosa 48 Perfume Mist will be available exclusively from LookFantastic from 23 June 2024.
