Coronation Street’s Tina O’Brien, 40, looks sensational as she strips down to a bikini on holiday
As she reclined on a sun lounger in France earlier this week, SOAP legend Tina O’Brien shows off her flawless physique in a striped bikini.
The 40-year-old actress was enjoying some downtime with friends, including her husband Adam Croft, having flown over for a friend’s wedding which she described on social media as “the best weekend ever.”
Hanging out in her blue and white striped swimwear, Tina’s washboard stomach and toned abs were firmly on display, as the star clearly takes a lot of pride in her gym body.
Tina and her husband Adam Croft tied the knot in 2018 after seven years together and a share a son Beau.
She also has a daughter, Waterloo Road actress Scarlett, 15, from her six year relationship with former Corrie actor, Ryan Thomas.
No doubt avid Coronation Street viewers are relieved to see the mum of two looking happy and relaxed, having been through a torrid time of late.
Earlier this year, fears swirled around her future on the soap, after leaked footage showed the actress involved in a street brawl outside her home in the Bramhall area of Stockport.
The actress had bravely stepped up to defend a local girl from being battered by a pair of vicious teenagers.
Intrepid Tina can be seen throwing punches, before getting one of the youth’s in a headlock.
The video sent shockwaves among fans, who feared that the footage could put her career in jeopardy.
A source told The Sun: “Tina came out to break things up — but ended up joining in. At one point, it ended up three-on-one with Tina and two girls against this other lass.
“She was throwing punches and also took a few blows herself.
“Watching her on Coronation Street, you wouldn’t think in a million years she’d get involved in something like this, especially in such a public place.”
But fortunately ITV bigwigs understood that Tina had acted bravely and the star was fully supported and given a period of respite after the ordeal.
Indeed the star who has starred as Bethany Platt on the cobbles for more than 20 years, will soon be saying goodbye to Gail Platt, her onscreen mother.
Weatherfield matriarch, Gail, has been played by actress Helen Worth, 73, who has decided to leave the soap after 50 years.
Some of Tina’s most intense storylines have unfolded alongside Helen and no doubt the actress is feeling emotional at the loss of a character who has been so pivotal to her career on the ITV soap.
A source said: “As the matriarch of the Platt clan, her affectionately prickly relationships with her kids and flighty mum Audrey epitomize what makes the show great: complicated family dynamics brought to life impeccably by Helen’s dramatic and comedic chops, alongside those of her fictional clan. “Gail has given us countless hours of entertainment but it should also be said that Helen herself is a consummate professional and a thoroughly good egg.
“Everyone connected to the show will miss having her around the place just as much as the viewers will miss having her on their screens and we wish her all the very best for the future.
