Centre to auction 60 coal blocks today

Union Minister G Kishan Reddy will launch the 10th round of commercial coal block auction in India, offering 60 blocks in various states. This initiative aims to increase coal production and exploit latent reserves. Coal India has awarded mines to private bidders under a revenue-sharing model, with 54 operational mines producing 147 MT of coal last year.
