Farooqi unleashes John Cena’s celebration after dismissing Rohit Sharma

Barbados: India kicked off their Super 8 campaign against Afghanistan at the Kensington oval in Barbados. India won the toss and decided to bat first but suffered from a disastrous start.

The tournament leading wicket-taker Fazalhaq Farooqi dismissed the Indian captain in the third over. Rohit went back to the pavilion after only scoring 8 runs off 13 balls as the Rohit-Kohli partnership again failed to deliver.

However, what drew the spotlight here was Farooqi’s celebration after dismissing Rohit. The bowler mimicked John Cena’s signature ‘You can’t see me’ gesture, much to the amusement of the crowd. The Afghanistan bowler continued his outstanding form against India by bagging 3 wickets and taking his wicket tally to 15 in the tournament.
