2024-2025 Schedule Release

The British Columbia Hockey League has announced the 2024-2025 Home and Away schedule for its 21 member teams. The Spruce Kings will play in the Coastal East Division of the Coastal Conference this season, as announced June 14th.

The Prince George Spruce Kings will open on the road for 3 games, serving as the opponent for the Surrey Eagles, Chilliwack Chiefs, and Langley Rivermen Home Openers September 20th to 22nd.

The following week, the Spruce Kings will host Coquitlam in their home opening weekend, with a doubleheader against the Express on September 27th and 28th.

Prince George will make its return to the Centennial Regional Arena to face off against the Brooks Bandits in a rematch of the 2019 Doyle Cup and 2019 National Championship game on October 12th. The night before, the Spruce Kings visit the Okotoks Oilers for the first time.

A pair of Alberta teams will visit Prince George in their first BCHL season, as the Spruce Kings welcome the Spruce Grove Saints November 23rd at 6:00 pm and the Sherwood Park Crusaders on March 16th at 3:00 pm.

The Spruce Kings home schedule is filled with nine games on Friday’s, 13 on Saturday’s, three Sunday matinees, and one Wednesday night game.

The road portion of the schedule features four 3-game road trips and a road doubleheader in Powell River. The Spruce Kings will play a minimum of two games each time they depart Kopar Memorial Arena.

The regular season schedule wraps up on Sunday March 30th with a 3:00 pm game against the Powell River Kings in Prince George.
