Kohli did not fire with the bat as well. After doing the hard bit and getting his eye in, he gave it away when on 24. Kohli scored 24 off 24 balls. Rashid Khan picked up his wicket.
For India, it was Suryakumar Yadav’s blazing 53 off 28 balls that helped the side get to a decent 181 for eight. Rashid picked up three wickets and was the best Afghan bowler on show.
