Here is a list of areas of interests in this years Science Museum summer camp:

  •  Rube Goldberg; Capture the Yeti: The elusive Yeti has crashed our party, and rumor has it, he’s here to stay! An elaborate trap needs to be set to catch this party animal! (gently and safely of course)
  •  Rubber Glove Bagpipes and Plesiosaur Science: Create your own rubber glove bagpipes and chat about the science behind the Plesiosaur, the sea creature rumored to be the Loch Ness Monster's distant cousin. It’s a mix of folklore, creativity, and paleontology.
  •  Camp Fire Cryptid Stories: Take a break from the party for a bit; take a seat around the campfire and swap some stories about the creatures that might be out there.
  •  Camouflage with the Oklahoma Octopus: The elusive Oklahoma Octopus is a Master of Disguise. Try your hand at camouflage makeup and see if we can give the Oklahoma Octopus a run for its money.
  •  Who Built The Pyramids?: Talk over some of the wild and wonderful ideas about how the pyramids came to be and craft a miniature pyramid of your own.
  •  Tug of Orr: A strategic game in which two players face off in a test of strength and agility. The goal is simple yet challenging: use your paddling skills to maneuver your opponent out of the playing area.
