UCF men’s basketball continues to round out its 2024-25 roster with the addition of UTSA transfer guard Jordan Ivy-Curry.

Ivy-Curry committed to the Knights in early May after completing a successful third season with the Roadrunners in which he led the team in scoring (17.1 points per game) while averaging 5.2 rebounds and 3.0 assists in 21 games. The 6-foot-3 guard shot 40.1% from the field and 38.7% from beyond the 3-point arc.

“We’re excited to have Jordan join our program. He is an accomplished scorer who affects the game in many ways with his playmaking, energy and intensity,” coach Johnny Dawkins said in a statement. “He can really fill it up and possesses a great skill set. Due to his work ethic and commitment to improve, he will have an opportunity to flourish in our system.”

Ivy-Curry began his college career at UTSA in 2020-21, earning a spot on the C-USA All-Freshman Team after averaging 7.2 points in 26 games. Those numbers grew his sophomore season, when he averaged 13.9 points before transferring to Pacific in 2022. After averaging 10.3 points per game for the Tigers, he returned to UTSA last season.

He becomes the ninth new player to join the roster this offseason, along with fellow transfers Benny Williams (Syracuse), Keyshawn Hall (George Mason), Dallan Coleman (Georgia Tech), Rokas Jocius (La Salle), JJ Taylor (Memphis), Elijah Hulsewe (Bethune-Cookman) and freshmen Cameron Simpson and Moustapha Thiam.
