I’ve picked out a whopping 66-1 outsider who can leave the bookies weeping on day four of Royal Ascot

ANOTHER slice of Murphy magic – that’s what is needed if Ramatuelle is to reverse 1000 Guineas form with Elmalka in today’s Coronation Stakes at Royal Ascot.

The day four feature is dominated by a fascinating clash of the female talent in a corking Group 1 Coronation live on ITV.

Elmalka, Porta Fortuna and Ramatuelle – the Newmarket 1-2-3 – are all back for more, yet none of them may start favourite with Aidan O’Brien saddling the Irish 1000 Guineas third Opera Singer.

The horses might be the same, but some jockeys have changed from HQ.

Elmalka’s winning rider Silvestre de Sousa has been ditched for James Doyle, while Ramatuelle’s former partner Aurelien Lemaitre is now sacked for Murphy.

The latter was brilliant on the Australian raider Asfoora in the King Charles III Stakes and he will look to deliver a similarly late charge on Ramatuelle who was sent on too soon in the Guineas.

That all said, Porta Fortuna is super tough and has loads of ability having also chased home Hard to Justify in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies’ Turf.

I just feel the selection is uncomplicated and she’s a terrific eachway bet for trainer Donnacha O’Brien.

Friday gets under way with the Group 3 Albany Stakes for juvenile fillies over six furlongs.

MOUNTAIN BREEZE is unbeaten in two starts for Godolphin and Charlie Appleby and has looked really good in victories at Newmarket.

She was a short price on debut and won going away and then did the same on second start when hitting the line strong.

She’s a big price here for me and there is a chance she didn’t even enjoy the undulations at HQ.

Up in class here for the Group 1 Commonwealth Cup for three-year-olds over six furlongs.

I’m all over INISHERIN for Kevin Ryan and Tom Eaves. The 2000 Guineas sixth dropped back in trip for the Sandy Lane at Haydock and while Vandeek flopped he was in control throughout the whole event.

I love the fact he will hit the line hard and he can easily make all.

Back in handicap company for the Duke of Edinburgh over just about a mile and a half.

MARHABA THE CHAMP is a very hard horse to predict and will be long odds but he’s just the type to pop up and run well in a race like this.

What the Kevin Ryan inmate needs is a strong gallop and he’ll get that here as he does so often when successful at York.

Rossa Ryan is on top and a mark of 96 is not impossible if he’s on a going day. A few quid eachway.

The Sandringham is a fillies’ handicap for three-year-olds over a mile.

FLIGHT OF FANCY stays well and might hit the frame for Aidan O’Brien.

The daughter of Galileo has only had four starts and missed a few chances on heavy ground suggesting this surface will suit.

She’s yet to win, but was second in a handicap at the Curragh last time when the drop to this trip seemed to suit. An eachway bet.

Now the Group 2 King Edward VII Stakes, often known as the Ascot Derby, for three-year-old colts and geldings over 1m4f.

THEORY OF TIDES is very interesting here for John & Thady Gosden and Kieran Shoemark.

The unbeaten son of Galileo who cost 500,000 gns was well on top at Yarmouth last time and stamina seems his strong suit.

The Palace of Holyrood Handicap for three-year-olds over 5f.

JUBILEE WALK is up 7lb for a win at York but he’s progressed well with every run and enjoyed dropping to 5f at a faster track than this when scoring last time.

On that basis I suspect this should suit him more and he’s got a huge chance for Oisin Murphy and James Ferguson.
