Body of Afghan girl discovered in Germany

German police officials have recently reported that the body of a 15-year-old girl from Afghanistan has been found in the country.

According to German media reports citing the police, the body of this teenage girl was discovered in the city of Worms.

Meanwhile, the police announced that the Afghan girl died as a result of drowning, but her parents are being held in investigative custody on suspicion of murder.

The Mainz police office said on Tuesday, “There is a suspicion that the suspects decided to kill their daughter because they disagreed with her lifestyle.”

The police have stated that the 39-year-old father and the 34-year-old mother of the girl are being held in separate detention facilities.

According to the police, the girl and her parents are citizens of Afghanistan.

Based on police information, the parents of the 15-year-old girl lived in the city of Pirmasens but at separate addresses, and the girl had been living with her mother prior to the incident.

In a recent incident in Germany, a refugee attacked several people with a knife, causing widespread alarm and raising concerns about public safety. This event has intensified the debate over the country’s refugee policy, especially regarding individuals with criminal backgrounds.
