Sabrina Carpenter to kick off solo tour at Nationwide Arena
COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) -- Sabrina Carpenter, the "Espresso" songwriter who recently opened for Taylor Swift, is kicking off her first headlining tour in Columbus.
Carpenter will take to the stage at Nationwide Arena on Sept. 23 as the first date of her "The Short n' Sweet Tour," the singer announced on Thursday. The 29-date tour is stopping at cities across the U.S. and Canada, including Detroit, New York, Chicago, Nashville, Orlando, Los Angeles and more.
Presales for the tour begin on Monday, with the Cash App presale at 10 a.m. followed by the "Team Sabina" presale at 10 a.m. on Tuesday. General onsale for the public begins on June 28 at 10 a.m.
The tour is in support of Carpenter's recently announced album, "Short n' Sweet," out Aug. 23. Earlier this month, the songwriter released her second single from the forthcoming album, “Please Please Please." The album's lead single, "Espresso," was released in April and became Carpenter's fourth hit on the Billboard Hot 100 and her first Top 5 on the chart where she now has two of the top three songs this week.
Earlier this year, Sabrina made headlines as she joined Swift on the international leg of her "Eras Tour" in Mexico, South America, Australia and Singapore.
