And in an video on TikTok, Carys explained that she’s found a pair of trousers that are perfect for wearing on hot days.

She showed how flattering the ASOS wide-legged dad trousers are as she paired them with a cropped Primark T-shirt, adidas Samba trainers, a cross body ASOS bag and a jacket from Marks & Spencer.

In the clip she said she was heading out for lunch with the girls, and immediately reached for her “go-to, feel good, confidence trousers”.

“I just love the shape of pleated trousers,” Carys explained.

“I love the fact that they have the elastic in the back.

“I had them last year and I loved them.

“They’re ASOS dad trousers and they’re a really nice linen look fabric which is so nice for summer.”

The trousers come in nine different colours, and in sizes from a 4 to an 18.

They also come in tall and petite versions, depending on your height.

And while they are normally £28, some of the shades are on offer – including the black and grey – for £22.50.

“That is today’s outfit of the day,” Carys concluded.

“Comfy, cute, feel good, all my faves!”

People in the comments section were quick to thank Carys for her video, with one writing: “My daughter is 3 months and I was a size 12 before.

“Back to a size 12 but this ‘Mum tum’, I don’t know how to dress it!
