Commenting under a Reddit post, user Swimming-Dingo-9889 named the two skincare products she swears by.

The poster explained that she achieved her smooth complexion using only the two budget-friendly buys.

“I am 71 years old, and I don’t have wrinkles,” the social media user said.

She credited the Olay Active Hydrating Skin Cream for perfecting her skin.

The skincare essential is available for $12.39 from Target.

The Redditor revealed that she had been using the product for “a long time.”

However, depending on the time of day, she makes a vital change to her one-step routine.

“I use the original pink color at night after washing my face, and I use the one with sunscreen in the morning. That is all,” she said.

The Olay Complete Lotion Moisturizer with Sunscreen has an SPF level of 15.

It is also available from Target for just $12.39.

Both products are designed to “restore dry skin with 48 hours of long-lasting moisture.”

According to Olay, the facial cream helps to “fight the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.”

The manufacturers also said the Olay Complete was created to protect the skin from direct sunlight.

SPF is often named as one of the vital ingredients in anti-aging skincare.

Skincare expert Dr. Michael Aziz previously spoke to The U.S. Sun about how sunscreen prevents aging.

  • Keep your skin hydrated internally by drinking water and externally with moisturizer.
  • Always use sunscreen, even if you’re not in direct sunlight.
  • Use Vitamin C to brighten the skin and don’t forget to apply to your neck.

“Sunscreen protects your skin by acting as a barrier against harmful UV rays,” he said.

“Without SPF protection, your skin may develop uneven pigmentation in an effort to shield itself from the sun’s rays, leading to potential sun damage such as sunspots and premature aging.

“Using sunscreen is essential to prevent this and maintain healthy skin.”

Another Reddit user was impressed with the affordable recommendation.

They commented that they “love this” and shared their intention to try out the products.
