In the clip, Bettie opened the balcony door to reveal her neighbour playing the guitar for everyone to hear.

While it might be fine to do occasionally, Bettie revealed it was constant and if he wasn’t playing his instrument he was preaching and ranting to neighbours from his garden.

Bettie said: “So we have a nightmare neighbour who spends all day, every day on his balcony either preaching, ranting and threatening people or singing and playing guitar loudly.

“Decided it was time to start fighting fire with fire yesterday.”

And Bettie sure did.

She stepped out onto the balcony and places a speaker on it.

After, she gave the camera a cheeky grin as she pressed play on her phone to get the party started.

With her music speaker on full volume she began to play Black Eyed Pea’s viral hit – Shut Up.

And it seemed the neighbour got the message as Bettie revealed it worked for several hours.

However, her neighbour soon started up again later that evening.

The clip posted to her account @bettiemoon has since gone viral with over 328k views and 30k likes.

People were quick to share their thoughts in the comments and people praised Bettie for her revenge tactic.

One person wrote: “Tell me it worked?!”

“For a few hours! Then he got a second wind and gave us all a speech/rant during the evening,” Bettie replied.

Another commented: “The perfect response.”

“Brilliant – it is traumatic though having neighbours like this,” penned a third.
