– Winning Pitcher: Maiker Josue Pimentel Sivira (VEN) (1-0), 7 IP, 12 K, 1 BB, 0 R, 0 ER 

– Losing Pitcher: Jack Besgrove (AUS) (0-1), 6 IP, 9 K, 1 BB, 4 R, 3 ER 

– HR: Luiger Orlando Pinto Suarez (VEN) 

Venezuela shut out Australia behind a dominant pitching performance from Maiker Josue Pimentel Sivira, who struck out 12 batters over 7 scoreless innings. Venezuela scored two runs in the 4th inning and added three more in the 7th to secure the victory. Luiger Orlando Pinto Suarez hit a home run and drove in two runs for Venezuela. 

2. Dominican Republic (1-0) 5, Philippines (0-1) 2 

– Winning Pitcher: Yan Carlos Gonzales Diaz (DOM) (1-0), 7 IP, 13 K, 1 BB, 1 R, 1 ER

The Dominican Republic defeated the Philippines, with Yan Carlos Gonzales Diaz striking out 13 batters over 7 strong innings. The Dominican Republic scored four runs in the 3rd inning, highlighted by home runs from Juan Arias and Pablo Modesto Figuereo Ortiz. Yoel Federico De Mota De La Cruz went 2-for-3 with two doubles and two RBI for the Dominican Republic.

Mexico won by run-ahead rule over Czechia in 5 innings. Carlos Alejandro Parra Gonzalez pitched 4 perfect innings with 6 strikeouts for Mexico. Mexico scored two runs in the 3rd inning and five more in the 4th, led by a grand slam from Jordan Solorio. Christian Alejandro Del Valle Enriquez went 2-for-2 with an RBI for Mexico.

The Dominican Republic scored five runs in the 2nd inning and six more in the 7th, led by home runs from Wilton Robles Villafaña and Yoel Federico De Mota De La Cruz. Jose Alejandro Reyes Rosario went 3-for-5 with an RBI, and Juan Antonio Ramirez Pena went 2-for-3 with an RBI for the Dominican Republic.

Australia edged out the Philippines in a close game. The Philippines took a 3-0 lead in the 3rd inning, but Australia responded with two runs in the bottom of the 3rd and three more in the 6th to take the lead. Brendon O’Byrne went 1-for-2 with a double and an RBI, and Callum Beashel went 1-for-1 with an RBI for Australia. Justine John Rosales hit a three-run homer for the Philippines. 

6. Venezuela (2-0) 5, Mexico (1-1) 2 

– Winning Pitcher: Maiker Josue Pimentel Sivira (VEN) (2-0), 3.1 IP, 5 K, 0 BB, 0 R, 0 ER

Carlos Villegas hit a two-run homer for Venezuela, while Edgar Daniel Lopez Delgado and Junior Alexis Flores Del Valle each hit solo shots for Mexico. Rafael Flores Sanchez went 4-for-4 with an RBI for Venezuela.

The Dominican Republic beat Australia, scoring three runs in the 1st inning. Michell Francisco Rodríguez Grullón hit a two-run homer for the Dominican Republic. Yan Carlos Gonzales Diaz pitched a complete game with 10 strikeouts for his third win of the tournament. Jose Alejandro Reyes Rosario went 3-for-3 with an RBI for the Dominican Republic.

The Philippines defeated Mexico in a low-scoring game. The Philippines scored two runs in the 1st inning and added an insurance run in the 7th. Mark Joseph Sarmiento went 3-for-3 with an RBI for the Philippines. Jose Gustavo Valdez Chaparro struck out 11 batters over 7 innings in the loss for Mexico. 

9. Venezuela (3-0) 11, Czechia (0-3) 2 (5 innings)

Venezuela won by mercy rule over Czechia, scoring four runs in the 1st inning and five more in the 2nd. David Galeno Betancourt hit a three-run homer and Engelbert Herrera added a solo shot for Venezuela. Engelbert Herrera went 3-for-3 with a home run, a triple, and three RBI.

Australia defeated Mexico in extra innings, scoring five runs in the top of the 8th. Mark Harris and James Todhunter each hit home runs for Australia. Jack Besgrove pitched 8 strong innings with 15 strikeouts for Australia. Callum Beashel went 3-for-4 with an RBI for Australia.

Czechia edged out Australia in a close, high-scoring game. Czechia took a 7-4 lead with three runs in the 5th inning, and held off Australia’s rally in the 7th. George Harris went 2-for-3 with a home run and five RBI for Czechia. Hayden Mathews hit two home runs and drove in four runs for Australia. 

13. Venezuela (5-0) 3, Philippines (1-3) 2 (8 innings) 

– Winning Pitcher: Luis Miguel Colombo Perez (VEN) (1-0), 2.2 IP, 6 K, 3 BB, 0 R, 0 ER 

– Losing Pitcher: Jehanz Maristela Coro (PHI) (1-2), 3 IP, 5 K, 0 BB, 1 R, 0 ER

Venezuela defeated the Philippines in extra innings. Venezuela took a 2-0 lead in the 3rd inning, but the Philippines tied it with single runs in the 4th and 6th. Carlos Alfonso Alvarez Morales hit a solo home run in the top of the 8th to give Venezuela the lead, and Luis Miguel Colombo Perez closed out the win. Rafael Flores Sanchez went 4-for-4 with an RBI for Venezuela. 

14. Mexico (2-3) 4, Dominican Republic (3-2) 0

Michal Holobrádek pitched a complete game with 10 strikeouts for Czechia. Justine John Rosales went 1-for-3 with a double, a triple, and an RBI for the Philippines.

Czechia edged out the Philippines in extra innings to take 5th place. Czechia tied the game with a run in the 6th inning and won it on a walk-off home run by David Jaluska in the 8th. Patrik Kope?ný also hit a home run for Czechia. Melvin S. De Castro went 2-for-4 with a double and two RBI for the Philippines. 

17. (PLAYOFFS | 3 vs. 4 SEMIFINAL) Australia (3-3) 4, Mexico (2-4) 1

Australia defeated Mexico in the semifinals behind a dominant pitching performance from Jack Besgrove, who struck out 16 batters over 7 innings. Australia scored two runs in the 1st inning and added single runs in the 5th and 7th. Hayden Mathews hit a solo home run and Mark Harris drove in two runs for Australia. Carlos Alejandro Parra Gonzalez struck out 13 batters over 6 innings in the loss for Mexico. 

18. (PLAYOFFS | 1 vs. 2 FINAL) Dominican Republic (4-2) 2, Venezuela (5-1) 0

The Dominican Republic shut out Venezuela in the championship game to win the tournament. Yan Carlos Gonzales Diaz pitched a complete game with 11 strikeouts for the win. The Dominican Republic scored single runs in the 1st and 6th innings. Jose Alejandro Reyes Rosario went 2-for-4 with a double and a run scored, and Juan Miguel Arias Garcia drove in a run for the Dominican Republic. 

19. (PLAYOFFS | REPECHAGE (loser Game 18 vs. Winner Game 17) Australia (4-3) 4, Venezuela (5-2) 1 

– Winning Pitcher: Jack Besgrove (AUS) (3-1), 7 IP, 16 K, 2 BB, 1 R, 1 ER

– 2B: Callum Beashel (AUS), Angel Adames (VEN) 

Australia beat Venezuela in the repechage game to take 2nd place. Jack Besgrove had another dominant outing, striking out 16 batters over 7 innings for the win. Australia scored single runs in the 2nd and 5th innings and added two more in the 6th. Callum Beashel went 1-for-4 with a double and an RBI, and Mark Harris drove in a run for Australia. Luis Ismael Osorio Leal drove in the lone run for Venezuela. 

With their top-two finishes, the Dominican Republic and Australia have secured their spots in next year’s World Cup. As the third-place team, Venezuela will have a chance to earn a wild card berth in the upcoming qualifying tournament. 

The upcoming tournaments for Groups B and C will determine the remaining teams that will compete in next year’s World Cup. The top two finishers from each group will join the Dominican Republic, Australia, and potentially Venezuela, if they can secure the wild card spot.
