Stock market today: Asian stocks mostly lower after US markets were closed for Juneteenth
Asian stocks are mostly lower after U.S. markets were closed in observance of Juneteenth. U.S. futures and oil prices were mixed. China's yuan was trading at its lowest level this year. On Wednesday, British shares fell after data showed inflation in May fell to the U.K.'s 2% target for the first time in nearly three years. On Tuesday, the S&P 500 rose 0.3% to hit another all-time high. The Dow Jones Industrial Average edged up 0.1%, and the Nasdaq composite edged to another record. Nvidia climbed to top Microsoft and become the largest U.S. stock by market value at over $3 trillion.
