• In honor of the summer solstice, National Park Service rangers and volunteer docents will host guided solstice hikes at 7 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m. Sunday at the Muir Woods National Monument, plus “Watercolor in the Woods” painting workshops in Muir Woods from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Thursday and Sunday, and a sunset tour of the Point Bonita Lighthouse in the Marin Headlands from 7:15 to 8:45 p.m. Friday.
