Oklahoma County man attacked by neighbor's dogs twice in 2 days

OKLAHOMA COUNTY, Okla. (KFOR) - Brandon Williams is covered in bite marks and can barely walk. 

"That's like a war zone, all them dogs,” said Williams. “I got so many bites and scrapes on me. You can't even cover them all up." 

According to Williams, on Friday he was checking his mail at his home near NE 63rd and Post Road when his neighbors dogs escaped their fence. Williams said the dogs attacked him and his own dog. 

"If she wouldn't have come after and helped me at the time, I'd probably be dead right now, but she's dead,” said Williams. 

Williams said his dog was killed and he was rushed to the hospital. 

“Stitches, stitches, stitches,” he said when pointing out his injuries. 

Just 48 hours later, the dogs tried to bite Williams’ wheelchair-bound father. 

"Instead of him getting him, they got me because I had to hobble in front of him,” said Williams. 

Williams said he’s fed up and wondering what steps to take next. Taking legal action is a move Bria Moos, an attorney at Adler Markoff & Associates, recommends. 

"It's a lifelong issue after you get bit by a dog,” said Moos. 

Moos told KFOR that Oklahoma has strict laws in place to protect dog attack victims. 

"If you are attacked by a dog unprovoked, attacked or bitten and you're lawfully on the property, then the owner of that dog can be held responsible,” said Moos. “It’s going to help you through the process and get you the compensation that you deserve for that."

KFOR reached out to Animal Control, however they were off for the Juneteenth Holiday.
