All 36 ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm’ Emmy submissions: Larry David, Jerry Seinfeld, Richard Lewis …

0

“Curb Your Enthusiasm” has finalized its plans for the 2024 Emmys, and they are pretty, pretty, pretty good. (See the complete list of Emmy submissions below.) The 12th and final season of HBO’s comedy series focused on creator/star Larry David going on trial for giving water to a Georgia woman who was waiting in line to vote. His old buddy Jerry Seinfeld popped up in the series finale, and he’s just one of 17 overall guest stars that are eligible for a nomination this year. In total, the program is vying for 36 Emmy Awards on the 2024 ballot.

All 10 episodes of “Curb Your Enthusiasm’s” last season aired this spring on HBO and streamed on Max. Besides David, other cast members eligible in the supporting categories are Jeff Garlin as Jeff Greene, the late Richard Lewis as himself, JB Smoove as Leon, Susie Essman as Susie Greene, Cheryl Hines as Cheryl and Tracey Ullman as Irma Kostroski.

“Curb Your Enthusiasm” is already a two-time Emmy winner for picture editing (2012) and directing (2003), but neither of those were for David himself. Essman recently told me it was an “injustice” that David never took home a trophy for “Curb.” But he notably still has two last chances, as he’s eligible for producing and starring in Season 12.
