FORECAST DISCUSSION:
Good Wednesday Evening,
It has been another very warm and muggy day with highs in the lower 90s and heat index highs into the upper 90s. Tonight, the isolated showers in the northwest, will quickly fall apart and give way to muggy conditions and temps above normal in the low to mid 70s.
Thursday will be a slightly warmer day with more sunshine and highs back into the middle 90s. Can't rule out a stray pop-up mainly north during the afternoon. Friday could have the stay very low chance of a pop-up, with highs in the mid to upper 90s.
Saturday expect a hot day, potentially the hottest day of the week, as highs will be in the upper 90s with humidity as well. This is why the NWS has expanded the heat advisory until now Saturday evening. Sunday chances will finally arrive as a cold front, with highs still in the lower 90s. We could have a few stronger storms late Sunday with the cold front.
Monday skies will clear with drier air and highs in the middle 80s. Expect sunshine to expand on Tuesday with highs in the lower 90s. We will have a few pop-ups return later in the day on Wednesday with highs in the lower 90s again.
