Nationwide Children's urgent care center coming to Grove City

GROVE CITY, OHIO (WCMH)- A new urgent care center through Nationwide Children's Hospital will be providing pediatric care to patients in and around Grove City.

The hospital is expanding by adding a Close To Home center at 1350-1370 Stringtown Road in Grove City, east of Interstate 71, according to an announcement from Nationwide Children's. The facility will bring access to several services including urgent care, EKG testing, clinical therapies and lab services for newborns, children and young adults.

Right now, there are currently 23 Close To Home centers across central Ohio including Clintonville, Hilliard, Lewis Center and Westerville. According to the hospital, new locations will also be opening this year in Zanesville and Athens.

The facilities also provide basic services including physical exams, vision, hearing and general checkups and more. The Close To Home Center in Grove City is expected to open in 2026.
