Katy Perry Reunited with Dr. Luke & Other Previous Collaborators for 'KP6' (Report)

It looks like Katy Perry has reunited with Dr. Luke and several other past collaborators for her upcoming new album.

Dr. Luke and Max Martin, who she’s also reportedly brought on to her upcoming album, helped with Katy‘s past hits including “I Kissed a Girl,” “Last Friday Night,” “California Gurls,” “E.T.,” “The One That Got Away,” “Dark Horse,” “Unconditionally,” and “Roar,” to name a few. She’s also reuniting with Stargate, who helped with hits including “Firework” and “Peacock.”

New collaborators include Vaughn Oliver, Rocco Valdes, and Theron Thomas.

A Capitol Records source told Rolling Stone, “Katy knew exactly the album she wanted to make and put together the team to make it happen. And that includes previous collaborators including Luke, Stargate, Max Martin, and Sarah Hudson, and some new heavy hitters such as Vaughn Oliver, Rocco Valdes, and Theron Thomas.”

Many believed Katy would be working with Dr. Luke again after Kesha tweeted “lol” on the day Katy announced her new single “Woman’s World.”

Kesha accused Dr. Luke of mistreatment and sexual assault back in 2014. Last year, Kesha reached a settlement with the producer following a lengthy legal battle.

Katy was involved in the legal battle, providing a deposition and at one point, was spoken about in text messages made public in court documents.
