Eastbound I-40 narrowed to one lane, ramp closed due to crash

OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) - An accident is slowing traffic eastbound on I-40 Wednesday morning.

According to the Oklahoma Department of Transportation, I-40 is narrowed to one lane between Anderson Rd. and I-240. The eastbound I-40 on-ramp from Anderson Rd. is closed in the work zone because of the wreck.

Crews are on scene working to clean up the roadway. Drivers are asked to avoid the area and find an alternate route like I-240. Officials say drivers should be careful as I-240/I-35 is an active work zone.
