Forever 21 has a nearly identical lookalike of Taylor Swift’s $480 denim mini dress – and it’s on sale for $24.49
TAYLOR Swift never goes out of style – and now fans can copy her fashion look for less.
Those who are ready to emulate Swift’s denim era without spending big bucks are in luck.
She might not dress for women – or for men – but she certainly knows how to dress after winning big.
Fresh off taking home nine awards from MTV’s Video Music Awards, the 34-year-old star was spotted wearing a denim ensemble at the afterparty at Ned Nomad in New York City last September.
Taylor, who was nominated for 11 awards, proved she was the best thing at that party after being recognized for having the video of the year with her hit Anti-Hero.
She started out her acceptance speech, well, speechless.
“OK. This is unbelievable,” she said.
After the awards ceremony, switched out of an asymmetrical Versace gown to the more laidback getup.
She celebrated her big night in an EB Denim polka dress as reported by People.
The $480 look consisted of a corset top and pleated skirt in various shades of washed denim.
After becoming the first person to win Video of the Year four times, a toned and tanned Taylor made sure she was extra bejeweled.
She layered gold and silver jewelry, including silver and gold bracelets from Melissa Kaye.
Taylor could also been seen carrying a sparkling silver handbag and silver platform heels.
She rocked a partial updo and of course, her signature red lip and cat eye.
While her designer dress is a bit pricey – and sold out in every size except for extra small – you don’t have to lose out.
A Forever 21 Reworked denim mini dress is currently on sale for $24.49.
The dress looks to be an exact clone of the original.
Featuring multi-shades of denim, the dress even has similar straps.
It also has a straight-cut neckline and back, as well as A-line silhouette.
Others were also taking note of how much the dress resembled the one wore by the Eras Tour singer.
“Looks like Taylor Swift’s VMA after party dress,” wrote one reviewer.
The dresses might have appeared to look alike, but the price certainly wasn’t.
People still couldn’t get over the similarities.
