Body of missing fisherman recovered in Mohawk River
TRIBES HILL, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office reports the body of the missing fisherman who fell into the Mohawk River on Thursday morning, was found. Deputies say the body of Nicholas Williams, 31, Gloversville, was recovered after a five-day search.
"Our thoughts are with Mr. Williams’s family. We hope they find some comfort in
knowing that Nicholas has been found," said Sheriff Smith. "The coordinated efforts and dedication of all the agencies involved were crucial in the recovery of Mr. Williams. We are grateful for their support and professionalism throughout this search operation."
