Suspect hospitalized after being shot by officers in The Dalles

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- A suspect was hospitalized after being shot by police in The Dalles, authorities said.

Information about the incident is limited, but according to The Dalles police, a car pursuit began early on Tuesday morning and ended with a heavily damaged police car and a suspect being shot.

The suspect was taken to a nearby hospital after the incident, no other injuries are known at this time.
