Humble Ford Jeremy Clarkson described as ‘a car filled with joy’ can be yours for less than £8k
A HUMBLE Ford that Jeremy Clarkson described as “a car filled with joy” can be yours for less than £8,000.
Reviewing the car for The Sunday Times in 2015, The Grand Tour star wrote: “It’s more fun to drive, in fact, than almost anything that’s been fitted with four wheels.

“It absorbs bumps as though they’re not there, it has a tenaciously grippy front and a waggly tail, and above all it makes you feel — even at half-speed — very happy.
“It is a car filled with joy, and that’s a rare thing these days.”
Now, an almost identical motor has come up for sale on PistonHeads at just £7,999.
It’s even the same bright red as the one Clarkson took for a spin back in 2015.
The 2015 1.0 litre Ford Fiesta Zetec is listed at just £7,999.
The good looking motor comes with a range of features such as Bluetooth Hands-free Phone, Electric Power Assisted Steering,
Emergency Assistance, Sports Suspension and 17in Alloy Wheels.
A Ford Fiesta that’s over 30 years old can be bought for just £12,995 – due to its incredibly low mileage.
Since 1992, it has chalked up just 139 miles and is being billed as “very possibly” the lowest mileage version of the Mk3 Fiesta “in existence”.
That’s according to Car Cave Scotland owner Alan Potts, who says the original buyer became too ill to drive soon after purchasing the motor in North Finchley.
The Fiesta was handed down to his daughter – who never learned to drive.
But she was emotionally attached to her dad’s motor so held onto it for years, retaining its like-new condition.
An enthusiast eventually claimed the Fiesta phenomenon in 2019, continuing on its careful maintenance.
