The Biden campaign recently released an ad highlighting individuals who have benefited from the program. The campaign seeks to draw a contrast with the policies of former President Trump, which it characterizes as broadly hostile toward those who attempt to cross the border.

The occasion coincides with the White House's announcement of a related expansion in opportunities for certain migrants, such as those married to U.S. citizens.
