Dan Skinner takes on the role of Aubrey, a fraudster working under Kirk.

What is Channel 5’s new drama Cold Call about?
The series focuses on June Clarke, a woman targeted by a phone scam during a low point in her life, leading her on a quest for justice and revenge against the scammers who took her money.
June is a diligent carer struggling to make ends meet, spending her days at a care home and her nights caring for her mother, Sophie (played by Melanie Kilburn).
After losing her job and discovering her daughter Hana is pregnant, she hastily decides to sell her home.
However, when the proceeds from the sale are stolen in a scam phone call, June seeks answers.
She reconnects with her schoolmate Des Grigsby, who runs a fraud support group, and with his help, she tracks down the fraud’s architect, Kirk Wiley—a successful businessman with a respectable facade.
June finds employment as a carer for Kirk’s elderly mother, using her position to infiltrate the Wiley household.
There, she uncovers a family riddled with dysfunction and dark secrets.
When tragedy strikes, it pushes June to the edge. Determined to recover her stolen funds, she delves deeper into Kirk’s illicit world, risking it all.

Cold Call originally aired on Channel 5 in 2019.
But due to its popularity, the broadcaster is showing it again.
The series is airing over four consecutive nights at 9pm on Channel 5.
It kicked off on Monday, June 17, 2024, and will conclude on Thursday, June 20, 2024.
