SUV fleeing from police crashes into MTA bus in the Bronx; 2 injured: NYPD
THE BRONX, N.Y. (PIX11) – An SUV fleeing from police rammed into an MTA bus in the Bronx on Monday, according to the NYPD.
It happened near East 204th Street and Grand Concourse around 4:55 p.m. Police officers were trying to pull over a gray Infinity SUV when it took off, according to authorities.
The driver of the SUV pulled around two vehicles, ran through a red light and careened into the bus, police said.
Two people were injured in the crash, according to the FDNY. They were taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/North Central Bronx by EMS.
