A 33-year-old woman is dead after the car she was driving left the road and struck a building in Manchester.

A woman is dead after the car she was driving left the road and struck a building in Manchester.

Officers just after 12:10 a.m. Tuesday responded to the area of 499 Lydall St. on a report of a motor vehicle crash, according to the Manchester Police Department.

Police said a preliminary investigation found that a vehicle was heading west on Lydall Street when it left the road and struck a building. The driver, a 33-year-old Manchester woman, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The victim has not been identified.

Police are still investigating the crash.
