Laos to hold festival to promote handicrafts, tourism

VIENTIANE, June 18 (Xinhua) -- The 23rd Lao Handicraft Festival will be held in capital Vientiane, to promote traditional handicraft products as well as to create a festive atmosphere in the city for tourists during the Visit Laos Year 2024.

The event will be held from Oct. 26 to Nov. 3, to celebrate the Lao National Handicraft Day on Nov. 1, Lao national TV reported on Tuesday.
