Singapore travel alert: Sentosa struggles to clean up oil spill coating beaches

An oil spill off Singapore’s southern coastline was triggered when the dredger Vox Maxima collided with the stationary tanker Marine Honor on Friday. This collision ruptured the cargo tank of Marine Honor, releasing oil into the sea. Prompt action by Singapore’s Maritime and Port Authority contained the leak and treated the spilled oil with dispersants.
