Samantha’s furious family break silence to slam Joey Essex as Love Island star is seen in floods of tears

SAMANTHA Kenny’s furious family have broken their silence after she was in floors of tears over Joey Essex.

Last night fans demanded that the Towie favourite needs to be axed from the villa after breaking the make-up artist’s heart.

Joey’s ex Grace Jackson entered the villa last week and certainly ruffled a few feathers

The reality favourite made it very clear that he was more interested in Grace, after he couldn’t keep his hands off her during their steamy sleepover in Casa Amor.

Then last night Joey smooched his former flame again, and Samantha threatened to leave the villa.

Samantha’s sister Toni took to Instagram to share her support after the upsetting scenes.

Toni wrote: “Nobody makes my little Sam cry.

“Proud beyond belief of how strong you are my love. Keep telling them all to get f***ed & keep being the star of that show.

“Your mans on his way.

“Thanks for everyone’s lovely comments we all see them all & couldn’t be prouder of our girl.”

During Monday’s instalment of the show Samantha was inconsolable as she claimed Joey “doesn’t give a flying f**k” about her feelings.

After an awkward day, Joey finally went and spoke to Samantha about what is going on between them.

He said: “I saw you upset earlier.”

Samantha replied: “Well yeah, I feel embarrassed if I’m being completely honest… I just feel like I was a bit of a placeholder until someone else come in.”

Joey said: “I didn’t want this to be the outcome.”

Samantha told him: “From what’s happened over there, why would I want to carry on? Did you kiss each other in there?”

Trying to flip the script, Joey said: ”Well, yeah… you ruled me out the minute those bombshells walked in you were done.”

Some viewers have accused Grace and Joey of “planning” to meet up in the villa after seeing how they have been together.

One Love Island fan took to X, formerly Twitter and mused: “I’m thinking Joey and Grace planned this, were probs together took an intentional break when the show was a possibility.

“Good opportunity to give her exposure as we don’t know her and that’s her career sorted post show. Next thing you know they will be on OK magazine #loveisland.”

Another fan agreed, writing: “Joey and Grace were 100% together before the show. You cannot convince me otherwise!”

Earlier this week Grace took Joey to the Hideaway.

The Sun later revealed scenes had to be cut because they were too racy for TV.

A villa source said: “Joey and Grace can’t keep their hands off each other, it’s the most chemistry we’ve seen on Love Island for years. 

“After facing Samantha, Joey took Grace straight into The Hideaway so they could continue their alone time. 

“They were hands-on in the Casa Amor villa despite being with four other Islanders, so obviously they could really go for it in the privacy of The Hideaway. 

“They kept things covered up by the duvet but let’s just say just like with the sleepover at Casa, producers have so much footage they can’t use it all without it becoming the Grace and Joey show.

“Things are moving fast, but having dated before there’s not the same timescales around forming a bond.”
