But on Tuesday fans were left puzzled as Sally was nowhere to be seen – with Sarah Campbell standing in for her.
Sarah, 51, brought viewers the latest news alongside Jon, 54.
During the show sports presenter Sarah Mulkerrins covered the news of Kylian Mbappe being rushed to hospital after breaking his nose during the France’s Euro opener.
But Sarah Campbell was left wincing over the footage, admitting she couldn’t bear to look at it.
She said: “I’m not sure I can watch that slow motion picture of Kylian Mbappé breaking his nose any more.”
Sarah added: “Maybe give us a health warning next time.”
Meanwhile, BBC Breakfast’s Nina Warhurst was flooded with support as she announced a brand new gig.
Taking to social media, the 43-year-old told fans how she had presented her first News at One bulletin.
She shared a behind-the-scenes snap after the programme and penned a heartfelt statement about her new role.
