2024 Emmy nominations ballot: See all 42 Best TV Movie contenders from ‘An American in Austen’ to ‘Zoey 102’
2024 marks 11 consecutive years of there being an Emmy category solely devoted to honoring made-for-TV movies. Such programs have consistently earned TV academy recognition for over half a century, including from 2011-2013 when they had to compete directly against multi-part limited series. This year, 42 movies are in contention for the five possible nominations. Last year, there were 61 options, compared to 48 in 2022 and 41 in 2021.
All 20,000 plus voting members of the TV academy have until June 24 to cast their Emmy nominations ballots for their favorite telefilms. They are each limited to five unranked selections in this category that will be tallied to determine the same number of nominees.
Just like on the limited series ballot, TV movie submissions include plot descriptions and cast lists. Which of the telefilms listed below do you think will earn nominations on July 17?
