Teen critical after Linden shooting

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) -- A 15-year-old boy is in critical condition after a shooting Monday night in the South Linden section of Columbus.

According to Columbus police, the shooting happened at approximately 9:40 p.m. near the intersection of East 20th Avenue and Hamilton Avenue.

The teen, who suffered multiple gunshot wounds, was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

Police did not release any suspect information, with Columbus Police Sgt. Joe Albert saying no one has come forward with any information as to what happened.

"We run into the whole 'no snitching' thing, right?" Albert said. "'Don't tell abut what you saw.' That doesn't apply here. You've got a 15-year-old that's fighting for his life right now at the hospital. Do the right thing. Reach out to us."
