Gov. DeWine says he doesn't remember text soliciting FirstEnergy for campaign cash

DELAWARE, Ohio – Gov. Mike DeWine on Monday said he doesn't remember a specific conversation with the then-president of FirstEnergy Corp. that led to a $500,000 contribution made by the Akron-based utility giant to a “dark money” group tied to the Republican Governors Association.
