The budget supermarket is flogging the Northern Solstice / 70 Washes bottles for 75 per cent cheaper than the likes of Tesco and Home Bargains.

Discount chain Savers is also selling the same product for £3.99.

But it is Farmfoods where they have been discovered to be the cheapest.

After being spotted by one savvy shopper, however, it didn’t take long for word to spread of the super-saving deal.

Uploading to the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group on Facebook, the happy customer shared an image of eight bottles they had stockpiled.

“Absolutely mega bargain!! Well impressed! Right place, right time,” they said.

And it certainly wasn’t long before other bargain hunters were looking to jump on the bandwagon, with many sent into a frenzy following the big reveal.

One person said: “Absolute bargain well done I would of got loads as well at that price.”

A second added: “I’d have bought the lot too!”

A third commented: “Well done love a proper bargain I’m not expecting.”

Plenty of others were even begging people to grab them a bottle so they wouldn’t miss out.

It comes after Aldi shoppers spotted an enormous 5-litre bottle of an essential product reduced down to just 49p.

If you are visiting the middle aisle soon, you’ll want to grab this motoring necessity that is part of the store’s Specialbuys.

And B&M shoppers have been cheering the return of a beloved childhood favourite which is back in stock after 20 years.

Customers were sent on a trip down memory lane after Horlicks Original Tablets were spotted on the shelves of the popular discount store.
