'2 Losers united': Johnson's beaming Mar-a-Lago photo-op with Trump immediately mocked

House Speaker Mike Johnson was thrilled to report Monday he met at Mar-a-Lago with former President Donald Trump, who even deigned to pose for a dueling thumbs-up photo-op with him — and his followers were equally thrilled to mock him.

Johnson appeared at Trump's Florida social club — where he stands accused of violating the Espionage Act by storing classified documents in a shower among other places — to discuss the presumptive Republican nominee's presidential campaign and the upcoming congressional elections.

"It was great to meet with President Trump today at Mar-a-Lago," Johnson wrote on X. "Our Party is united, and working together, I am confident we will send President Trump back to the White House, win back the Senate, and grow our House Republican majority!"

This is the second time Johnson has journeyed to Mar-a-Lago. The first was in April amid an internal MAGA attack from Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, who called for the speaker's figurative head.

Johnson's boast of a "great" discussion was not met with a great response from X users on either side of the political aisle.

"Good luck with that," quipped X user John A. Fetto.

"Speaker Mike Johnson funded Joe Biden’s corrupt regime," replied X user Paul A. Szypula. "I don’t like Trump cozying up to Johnson. Doesn’t seem right."

Sean Wiese asked, "Don’t you all do any work?"

"I don't trust you," declared Tammie McDonald. "You're a [snake emoji] and we all know you don't really support Trump."

"The border is still open," Casey Whiteclaw added. "The spending won’t stop as inflation is crushing us. The DOJ is fixing the election. We are facing WW-III. What good is ‘the majority’ if they don’t do anything?"

"Mike with all due respect you should resign," MAGA supporter Gunther Eagleman suggested.

Donn Linn said simply, "2 Losers...United indeed."
