Princess Eugenie Steps Out in Florals and Classic Black Pumps for FTA Prize Winners Celebration
Princess Eugenie of York attended the FTA dinner in celebration of the FTA Prize 2023 winners held in London today.
The 2023 Fashion Trust Arabia winners include eveningwear designer Amir Al Kasm, Cynthia Merhej of the Lebanon-based brand Renaissance Renaissance, jewelry designer Katarina Tarazi, Omar Taha and Lily Max. Many of the winners were in attendance at the celebratory dinner.
The royal sported a pair of classic black pumps for the dinner. The star’s style included jet-black uppers, sharp and sophisticated triangular toes and 2 to 3-inch stiletto heels, offering the public figure a subtle and walkable boost in height. Many royal figures favor neutral-toned pumps because they are a safe and comfortable option. Like Eugenie, Kate Middleton also loves black pumps.
Black pumps are a staple for many celebrities, given they go with just about everything. The style is tried and true, worn and re-worn since the dawn of fashion. Many celebrities reach for the sleek silhouette both on and off the red carpet, the Princess included. Jennifer Lawrence, Anya Taylor-Joy, Alicia Keys, Ariana Grande and Sofia Vergara are just some of the many stars who have recently been spotted in black pumps from an array of brands.
Accompanying her neutral footwear, Princess Eugenie donned a floral dress. The style featured a textural accordion pleat and a pink and white floral print set on a black background, making the print pop. Additionally, the royal’s dress included a lettuce hem on the bodice and a high neckline.
Princess Eugenie’s vast shoe wardrobe usually includes classic and versatile silhouettes. For formal occasions, the royal can be spotted in pointed-toe pumps by Gianvito Rossi, Jimmy Choo, Carvela, Aquazzura and Givenchy, among other top brands. These styles are usually neutral in nature and feature bow or floral adornments. She’s also been known to wear casual slipper-style loafers by Charlotte Olympia during conference events.
