QUEENS, N.Y. (PIX11) --- The man found with multiple weapons during a traffic stop in Queens last week had a black baton with the words "You left me no choice" hanging in his vehicle, authorities said.

The statements "You gon learn and "Ask in God for forgiveness" in Arabic were also scribbled in silver on the black baton when NYPD officers pulled over Judd Sanson, 27, near 86th Street and 23rd Avenue in East Elmhurst at around 1:30 a.m. Wednesday, according to court documents.

Sanson was initially stopped because his black Ford Explorer had a blacked-out license plate. Authorities then found a cache of weapons that led to a possible terrorism probe.

After the search, Sanson told cops, "Sorry, I'll take it off. There's a lot of drunk people nowadays," according to court documents.

When the cops approached the car, one of the officers noticed a knife handle protruding from a holster strapped to the defendant's right leg.

"Is that a knife?" the cop asked.

Police also recovered silver handcuffs and a black whip hanging from the truck's ceiling and multiple guns, ammunition, knives, a machete, a stun gun, and an NYPD vest, prosecutors said.

Sanson was arrested and arraigned on multiple charges of criminal possession of a weapon, unlawful use of a police uniform, and no license plate, according to court records. He is being held without bail at a facility for inmates with a contagious disease, according to Department of Correction records.

No terrorism-related charges were added to the complaint

“We must protect our city. When a person is pulled over and possesses a loaded semi-automatic gun, more than 170 total rounds of ammunition, multiple weapons, body armor, an NYPD patch and an MTA vest, just a few blocks from the airport, we are very concerned," Queens District Attorney Melinda Katz said.

Sanson's attorney could not immediately be reached Monday.
