Whitehall tackles water system repairs overnight

WHITEHALL, N.Y. (NEWS10)-- The Whitehall Department of Public Works will begin repairing the water system Monday night, shutting off water access overnight. County officials said the repairs will start at midnight due to a water main leak on the village's east side.

The water system will shut down for residents from Williams/ South Williams Street to Whitehall Central Schools. DPW crews will work to restore water services as soon as possible, and the work was scheduled for the overnight hours to lessen the impact on water users.
